the beginning

Putney Heath

Hi all, some of you I’ve already been in touch with, via email, card, text etc, many of you I haven’t. So for some reading this, there may be a bit of going over ground already covered.

I’ve been in London for just over three weeks now, it seems like so much longer for me, I’ve seen so much – and more on that later (another post maybe if this one works out ok). I am living with Caroline (Cari) and Tilly, her daughter, in Roehampton, South-West London, near the Thames.  I am well looked after, well loved, and feel so very very happy and free all the time. Free to walk everyday, enjoy the beauty and tranquilty that is the London I am coming to know and love. Trees, dogs, quiet lanes, rivers and brooks and canals – water everywhere. Commons and heaths, greens and parks. Buses and trams, tubes and trains.  The pic above is of mid-morning in the woods on Putney Heath.

Anyway, this is my first post, simply to say hello to you all and have a bit of a practice. Much more information to follow in later posts.

The one thing I want to do first up tho, is express my GRATITUDE. I know I am so fortunate to be here, right now, living in London, and I am grateful to so many people, and for now:

To Cari, thank you so much for loving me so openly and freely. Thank you for opening you arms, your home, your family to me – making me welcome, making me feel safe simply to be, and in this moment to be free.

To my sons, Tobias and Max, thank you for not only letting me go, thank you also for encouraging me to go. Without that I would not have. Thank you for your love, for me, and for yourselves, that provided you with the strength and the courage to be the men that you are, separate and independent of me.

And finally for this post (before it turns into a novel) thanks mum. It was you who opened the gate. Thanks for dying. Thanks for living. Thanks for being my mum. May you be free, may you be happy, may you always share in my dharma.

Thanks to all of you – your love has been a large part of my journey, and will continue to be.. xx
