loose fiction
Wow, I’m quite manic at the moment – you may have noticed from all the ranting on here, and those of you receiving emails as well (it does seem to be primarily textual ranting rather than verbal) just let me known if it becomes too much. Although having said that I am a little schizoid so there’s an island of calmness just over the horizon. I know this as I can read the signs. Things have started slowing down, and I have started meditating again (well for the last 3 mornings anyway), and Cari as well. So all good and guess what?
I just called the job and the letters should be out next week. Hmmm, so another week of delicious ambiguity – yehaaaaaaaaaaaa..aaarrrghhhhhh. It’s a fine line between delicious and delirious!
I’ve made good use of my mania by editing and concluding some drafts that have been around for a while, and I’m posting these regularly. I’m also just in a very mind-boggling place at the moment – ha – awesome eh! One of the consequences of this, completely unplanned in any conscious sense (a method I have learnt from Cari) is that a thread of writing has emerged that may be called (loosely) fiction (so perhaps we call it loose fiction – I like it!) .
The first post of loose fiction is ‘the scent of flowers’ - when perusing this you may notice a few things, like:
- hmmmm it’s a little less real or perhaps realistic or something anyway than most of my writings
- surreal even
- incredibly unstructured, lacking in continuity and difficult to read, and what’s up with the POV (point of view) … I mean it’s all over the place
- though it is a nice yellow colour
- and states ‘to continue’ in the bottom right corner. By clicking on this you may continue as far as you are able into the loose fiction. However as with everything how far you travel and where you end up will be subject to change
- however there is a ‘tag’ attached (right at the bottom in the dark yellow colour) named ‘loosefiction’. Thankfully for you (or not) all posts of this type will be tagged ‘loosefiction’ and can be accessed by clicking on ‘loosefiction’ under tags in the right hand menu (look right). Once in the loosefiction category page, as with an email, scroll all the way down (and perhaps across) to get to the beginning.
- Whew
Right, that’s about it. Back to the future – tally ho!
