S. N. Goenka, a most wonderful and gentle teacher would often preface one of his fantabulous parables with the words ’story is story’.  I guess I came to understand from this that trying to ascertain how ‘true’ something was was just a bit of a waste of time. More important that any ‘truth’ was whether I enjoyed the story or not. 

 

Never underestimate the power of a good story!!
